Review of the M18 Brushless 1/4″ Hex 3 Speed Impact Driver

The Small Brute

I have this brute of a power tool, and it has the capability of power-housing through tough projects I have done so far! Also, working in the construction industry demands a power tool that withstands brutal punishments. The makers of Milwaukee, stands at the top, in my opinion.1/4" Milwaukee Impact Driver

I received the Milwaukee combo package from my wife for Christmas a few years back. She knew I liked the Milwaukee brands because I am always talking about how tough they are and everyone on my job site uses Milwaukee due to how powerful and durable they are made.

I am reviewing the M18 Brushless ¼” Hex 3-speed impact driver. It comes with a contractor bag, an M18 Red Lithium CP2.0 battery, and an M18 and M12 battery charger.

How it Works

The mechanism within the impact driver works with percussion from an internal hammer hitting the shaft while the motor turns. The percussion from the internal hammer hitting the inside motor shaft helps to drive longer screws and bolts into dense material.

Final Thoughts

For only $99 plus tax and shipping and handling, the M18 Brushless 1/4″ Hex 3 Speed Impact Driver is a must-have deal. Doing some research, I finally tracked some online stores where you can purchase this powerhouse brute, but I will point in the direction of Home Depot.

The price for the impact driver alone is $144. On top of that, you must buy a battery and a charger for the battery. This will cost an additional $268 plus tax. The total cost for the package is $412, and of course, you must add tax, shipping, and handling. So, you see, if you buy this impact driver with the charger and contractor bag, you will save $313. I am sorry to say, I could not find the exact contractor bag for the price.

Any thoughts, comments, and questions are welcome.
